"All we can do is say we are sorry," Hains told the reporter. Yet I know that the Diocese never apologized to Robby Price or any of the other survivors that I represented. Hains downplayed the amount of abuse that has occurred in the Charlotte Diocese, compared to other parts of the US, and denied claims that the Diocese protected and welcomed priests accused of sexual abuse.
